Concrete Pressure Washing/Power Scrubbing

Concrete does not suffer from wear and tear due to soiling like fabrics do, however keeping this stuff clean will make a big difference in appearances!

Key Benefits

  • Prevents soils from becoming permanent stains over time.
  • Improves appearances, which can reflect in property values over time.
  • Reduces liability in a commercial setting by proving due diligence..
  • A cleaner environment is more appealing to clients, and will encourage sales.
  • Cleaning the concrete in the garage area prior to carpet installation will give the installer a clean surface to cut & layout the carpet.
  • Cleaning the other concrete surfaces such as the patio, front porch & flushing the driveway prior to carpet installation will help prevent tracking debris/stains at the most critical phase of the construction process.
Pressure Washing
Like the name implies, pressure washing involves cleaning a hard surface with water at 1000 p.s.i. or above. Pressure washing will loosen and remove 95% of the soils that normally accumulate on concrete. Cleaning with heated water will clean even better. Because a lot of water is used, pressure washing is not very well suited for indoors, but is it the most popular method of cleaning concrete and asphalt, including curbing. Special spotters can be used to remove chewing gum or heavy build up. Be careful with pressure washing on a new construction site. Typically, pressure washing will void the warranty on concrete.

Power Scrubbing
Power scrubbing involves a weighted low r.p.m. scrubber. Different pads can be used to adjust the aggressiveness of the process, and we prefer this method of cleaning if there are problem soils present. Generally, power scrubbing is followed by a good rinsing, either high or low pressure as the situation dictates. Power Scrubbing is the only safe way to protect your warranty on a new installation of concrete.
