Odor Control

Your Sense of Smell
Did you know that many experts consider the human sense of smell one of the body's most powerful senses? Odors can trigger memories, emotions, and in some cases physical reactions. Fires, pets, high humidity, even cooking can cause odors to linger, and sometimes these odors won't dissipate on their own.

Topical Treatments
A simple, and cost effective way to deal with odors that are not very severe is with a topical application after a thorough cleaning. The source of the odor is cleaned out, and a deodorant is applied to mask the airborne odor until it dissipates on its own. We can apply either a water based or solvent based deodorant and when the deodorant smell is gone, so is the malodor.

Air Vent Treatments
We can treat a whole building easily once we make sure that the source of the odor is gone by installing long lasting deodorizing materials in the HVAC vents. This simple, but effective method works well if a malodor has permeated a large space.

Fogging
When more aggressive treatment is required, we can hot fog a space. This fog will go where the odor has gone, and soak into materials the same way the odor did. Excellent for removing odors that have seeped into wood or other building materials and will not respond to simpler methods.

Ozone Treatments
Widely viewed as the best treatment for organic odors such as pets or fires, we can treat a building by filling it with ozone gas for 24 hours or more. Our ozone treatment will chemically destroy odor causing molecules. At the risk of grossly oversimplifying, consider it kind of like bleaching the air.
